yogapod teachers
Cindy Mac Donald
I first hit the mat when I was very small with my
mother but it wasn't until I was in my early 20's that
I was ready to dedicate any time to yoga. First
walking in the door to a studio was a transformative
experience and I have never been the same since. I
began to deepen my practice more, studying with Danny
Paradise, Elizabeth Rainey and Paul Grilley. When I
finally gathered up all my courage and answered the
call to teach I took off for the far and distant land
of Thailand where I could immerse myself in the path.
My wanderlust has had me tripping all over the globe
doing what I love best, learning about people and the
ways of the world. I am continually inspired by my
teachers Paul Dallaghan, John Friend, Shiva Rea and
the energy of all those who have, are and will walk
the path. I try to inspire people to get to the mat,
accept what is and open up to the joy that is readily
available to them; getting people to use their bodies
in new ways with strength, flexibility and grace.
Famous last words: when in doubt, do more yoga.
