hot 1 (foundation): heated | ideal for beginners & all levels

Our heated room of 100-105°f facilitates safe deeper stretching & a healthy glow through a detoxifying sweat. Balance your body, build core strength, mental focus, & patience.

power flow 1  &  power hour: warm | all levels

Vinyasa flow is practiced in a warm room and is based in dynamic sequences of postures linked with powerful breath. It builds core & upper body strength, leaving you energized and vibrant.

anusara-inspired: warm | ideal for beginners & all levels

Perfect for beginners or intermediate students wanting to deepen or revisit their understanding of hatha yoga. This class is dedicated to unlocking the full energetic potential of asana weaving profound principles of alignment and Tantric philosophy.

hot yoga, power flow and anusara inspired yoga in North Vancouver at Yogapod
 
passage 108: warm | intermediate/advanced NOT for beginners

This Anusara-inspired intermediate advanced class explores deeper dimensions in asana and theory.  Binds, advanced balances, inversion are components of this class so a regular steady practice is mandatory ( must be able to  perform straight arm urdva danurasana and do handstand against the wall without assistance).

yin meditation: warm | ideal for beginners, all levels

An artful balance of movement and stillness, this practice begins slow, deliberate focus on lengthening the body's deep connective tissue. Postures are held for several minutes to encourage release. Teachers may include chanting and nada yoga (sound vibration) techniques to aid in stilling the mind and cultivating balance and equanimity.

runners yoga: warm | 8 week sessions: drops-ins allowed

This dynamic class is dedicated to the areas of the body most affected by running. The instructor will give expert advice for both running and yoga to help students avoid the common problems that afflict runners in training. Please call for session dates.

prenatal: NOT heated | 8 week sessions

Regardless of experience come nourish yourself & feel inspired through a community of pregnant women. Stretch, strengthen, relax & focus on breath. Please call for session dates. These classes are pro-rated for earlier due dates. NOTE: No session will run through July and Aug. The next session will begin Sat, Sept 13th, 2008.

mom & baby: NOT heated | 8 week sessions

A great way to connect & engage with your baby through massage & movement. A time essential for Mom to regain harmony, strength & confidence. Please call for session dates. NOTE: No session will run through July and Aug. The next session will begin Wed, Sept 10th, 2008.

community karma class: warm | ideal for beginners & all levels

Yogapod offers a reduced rate for an all level practice of either Anusara-inspired or Flow on Saturday evenings at 6pm open to everyone for only a $5.00 drop-in.
