Our Studio Experience

Heated Vinyasa, Hot Yoga, Fitness. With options for beginner yogis to advanced practitioners, our classes are designed to improve your skill sets and challenge you along the way. We want our students to achieve a greater sense of presence or the “flow state”. Through our Philosophy and Science our students will reduce stress, build strength, and increase flexibility.

Through breath, strength, and sweat, you will achieve the yoga experience you have been searching for. We offer podBASICS to build intentional foundation, podFLOW 1 to progress on your vinyasa path, and podFLOW 2 to increase challenge. Our podHOT class is guaranteed to deliver a detoxifying sweat and leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. podFIT, taught to the beat and focused on strength, cardiovascular health and endurance training will set you up for success in your continued practice. Yin yoga is a lovely way to unwind your mind and melt away the stress from your days. We are passionate about growing the yoga community in Boulder, and we can’t wait to welcome you to your mat!

We offer a physically challenging, yet sustainable, practice and utilize the science of flow states to achieve heightened levels of focus and attention.

All Yoga Pod classes are suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and will guide you to a greater state of health, well-being, and connection. Each class will help you increase your body awareness, flexibility, and strength, while you also decrease stress and provide a platform for personal growth.

Good Morning from our PodStar Student of December, Lilah Strauss. **Why Do You Love The Yoga Pod? Yoga pod has been home for me for the last six years. It’s where I started my practice, did my teacher trainings and began teaching. They say home is where the heart is and mine is truly at yoga pod. The community is inspiring and uplifting and every teacher, student, and employee is incredibly gracious and kind. I feel safe and at home here and every time I walk through the doors I’m greeted with a hug, smile or warm hello. **How Did You Start Practicing Yoga? An old teacher and friend of mine came to me six years ago with a great offer to start practicing at yoga pod in LODO. I was going through a big life transition at the time and thought I’d give it a go. I heard countless things about yoga and the benefits it has on the body and mind. I’ve been hooked ever since and I can’t imagine life without it. **What Are You Working On In Your Practice? I am constantly working on my breath practice. Poses can change day today depending on my mood, how my body feels, etc. But I try to keep my breath constant and even. It’s a hard practice and takes a lot of mindfulness and Slowing down. By focusing on my breath I can completely hone in on each pose and the flow of the class itself. The beautiful thing about yoga and breath is that it is a practice and it takes time and work to find your rhythm and flow. ...

Our final Star of November! Meet, Alyssa Gonzalez, PodStar Karma Yogi. **How Has Yoga Impacted Your Life? Up until a few years ago, I didn’t think yoga was for me. I started practicing when my mom took me to a bikram class when I was 15. I absolutely hated it and thought that every yoga class was going to be like that. In college I ran division 1 track and field as a 400 meter hurdler and started practicing a few times a week. As I started training harder and practicing more I saw how yoga was helping me physically. It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety that I realized the impact yoga could have on me mentally. Yoga has had a huge impact on my mental health and gives me a place to clear my mind and just be me, without all the stress and anxiety that I usually feel. I know at anytime if I’m feeling overwhelmed, happy, sad, stressed, or whatever, that the second I get on my mat it all goes away and I always end my practice that day feeling like the best version of me. **What Is Your Favorite Type Of Class At Yoga Pod? I love the heated and regular flow 2 classes! They are fun, challenging, and engaging. It’s been a lot of fun seeing how each teacher brings something unique to the class and how much I learn every time I go. **What Are You Working On In Your Practice? The toughest thing in my practice has always been showing up. I find all the excuses in the world to skip a class and tell myself “I’ll just go tomorrow” but then I never do. I have been a lot better at going a few times a week and really being present when I’m practicing. •

podFLOW 1

Ideal for: All Yogis

Embody the true spirit of breath-synchronized movement set to music in podFLOW 1. Begin with warm up through Sun Salutations and progress through sequences that build strength and flexibility. All classes focus on proper alignment and safety, with added challenges from our podBASICS series. Classes are set to 85 degrees and no added humidity.

podFLOW 2

Ideal for: Intermediate and Advanced Yogis

podFLOW 2 classes are dynamic and accessible, set to music, and offer more challenging postures, physicality, and variations. Teachers bring their own creative elements for diverse and inspiring classes. Expect intelligent sequencing progressions, a detoxifying sweat, a physically challenging practice, and an opportunity to melt away the stress from your day. podFLOW 2 classes are your home for amazing heated power vinyasa set to 95 degrees with 40% humidity.


Ideal for: All Yogis

podHOT utilizes a set sequence of postures practiced in a room set to 105 degrees and 60% humidity. The class is designed to build strength, create balance and flexibility in the body, and produce a detoxifying sweat. Class includes breathing exercises, a standing series, and a floor series. Hot yoga is set to music and is suitable for all levels. Come well hydrated and bring a towel.


Ideal for: All Fitness Gurus

podFIT is your full body fitness practice. Get ready for an active, full body warm-up designed to engage your entire body. Expect resistance training, body weight movements, and cardio exercises to accelerate change, build strength, and increase core stability. The class finishes with gentle stretching and a light cool down. This fun and vibrant class is taught to the beat of high-energy music designed to provide balance to your yoga practice.


Ideal for: Intermediate and Advanced Yogis

This class blends elements of our signature PodHot sequence with vinyasa, PodFlow postures. Accompanied by music, this energizing class is an intelligently set sequence of postures designed to build slowly, open the body safely and strengthen from head to toe, by combining flow with static postures. This class is recommended for those with some yoga experience. The room is heated to 90 degrees with 40% humidity. Please come prepared with a towel and water.


Ideal for: All Yogis

YIN yoga increases joint mobility and improves flexibility by applying moderate stress to the body’s connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, and fascia). Expect to hold each posture passively for 2-5 minutes, supported with props and blankets. YIN classes are set to relaxing music and suitable for all levels. Rest, restore, and relax.


Ideal for: All Yogis

Sweat, Heat, and Beatz is a yoga class set to decidedly unyogic music. Anything goes in this class playlist. We flow hard, pump the beats, and have fun! If you thought yoga was not for you, this class will prove you wrong. Come in and practice according to your own skill level. Rock those more challenging poses, or just kick back, modify and enjoy the flow of your practice. We pump the heat and the music and scale back on the cues. Make Sweat, Heat, & Beatz your new Happy Hour!


Ideal for: All Yogis

Earth Ways Yoga is a system of yoga rooted in three layers of traditional wisdom: Yoga, 5 Element Philosophy, and Nature. By including the wisdom of the natural world into the practice, this yoga offers you a chance to unite all parts of your body in deeper balance. Balance is cultivated through authentic alignment between the physical, emotional, and energetic parts of your body, and the relationship of the natural world around you. Set in a room heated to 80 degrees, this slow-moving yet powerful style of yoga invites focused attention on the sound of breath as a gateway to build a deeper relationship with yourself and with the meridian lines and points that work within you. Working in this intentional way creates strengthened alignment to your rootedness and how you walk in your body on this earth.
