“Yoga Pod Dallas, is located in downtown Dallas. Our luxury studio is in the heart of Victory Park approximately three blocks south of American Airlines Center between Olivella’s Neo Pizza, Medina Oven & Bar, and BuzzBrews Kitchen-Victory Park in the retail section of The Terrace Building. The studio has fabulous turquoise awnings and is directly across from the gorgeous park and fountains. Free two hour parking is available in the immediate area (see parking map). All side street parking if 2 hours FREE. We recommend you park for FREE in the Parking lot located at Continental Avenue and Victory Avenue by accessing the lot on the Continental Avenue side as spots are reserved in this lot even if an event is taking place at American Airlines Center. We offer numerous types of yoga, fitness, barre, and now Zumba classes for all levels. Each class (except Zumba) utilizes a yoga mat. Most students bring their own mat; however, if you need a mat you can always rent one at the studio for $2 (members $1).

Meet our local owner

Michelle Weaver

Meet our Studio Owner and Manager, Michelle Weaver (“Mia”)! I was born and raised in central Iowa (“If you build it, they will come…”), then lived in Indiana for approximately twelve years before I found my way to the great state of Texas (“Everything is bigger!”). I have lived and worked in Dallas for approximately thirteen years and I am so excited to be bringing Yoga Pod to Victory Park in the heart of Dallas.

My background is in the Counseling field as a licensed counselor and I have been in upper management positions in the social services field for 18 years. In addition, I have been a committed student of yoga for 7 years. I also get my groove on and my fitness fix teaching Zumba, Body Works, and Power Circuit which I’ve been doing for nearly five years. I love having the opportunity in each class I teach to help people appreciate their own fitness interests and desires and I am honored to be able to assist folks meet their fitness goals. It is so exciting to know I will be taking my own fitness and yoga practice to the next level as I get my Yoga Teaching Certification at the first Teacher Training offered at my new studio!

Though I have felt proud of my corporate career, I am thrilled to be transferring my knowledge to owning my own vibrant yoga franchise business. I have a great deal of passion for the fitness world with yoga being an integral part of my life. I truly desire to not only run a successful Yoga Pod but also empower others to find their own sense of strength, centeredness, and peace. I can’t wait to meet you all and for each of you to come visit the flagship Yoga Pod in Dallas! Be sure to stop in and say “Hello” and Namaste for awhile!!

Chase Brown

Chase Brown began his yoga journey in 2011 with a series of events that would come to hone and direct the rest of the course of his life. Starting with at-home YouTube videos, and moving on to a small local ashtanga/ vinyasa group, and then joining a local bikram-style hot yoga studio, he took his time sampling different styles.

The joy of yoga led to a general love of body movement altogether. In 2014 he completed his RYT 500 which covered the basics of Hatha, Vinyasa, and meditation. Since then Chase has learned to teach Isometric Strengthening, Pilates, all kinds of fitness from calisthenics and core, to dumbbells to kettle bells, and much more. This combination of modalities helped to compliment his exuberant personality and teaching style.

As an avid practitioner of body movement in general, Chase is very focused on being safe, efficient, and effective. Through an in-depth study of anatomy, Chase is able to guide his students through any kind of physical practice with a high level of instruction combined with a great deal of fun.

After a few years of teaching, Chase decided to continue the study of working with the human body by beginning his journey towards his Doctorate of Chiropractic beginning in January of 2017 at Parker University. In the future he hopes to combine his love of movement and yoga with his trained Chiropractic skills to become a lifelong teacher and healer. Chase is a lover of science and an avid reader of speculative fiction; when not practicing, teaching, or learning, he enjoys live music, making art, reading, or playing with his dog.
