This is the ideal yoga class for beginners. If you are new to the world and practice of yoga, you will learn what you need to know moving forward in a podBASICS session. These classes provide individuals with an opportunity to create a foundation on which the rest of their yoga experience can grow. Moving at a slower pace, you’ll have the chance to experience each position, alignment, and fundamental aspect of each posture. If you’re looking to advance to a podFLOW 1 and 2 class, then you’ll want to start here. Even if you’re an advanced yogi and want to refresh your yoga fundamentals, a podBASICS course can help you with just that.
podFLOW 1
With an emphasis on the true spirit of vinyasa yoga, podFLOW 1 yoga classes incorporate breath-synchronized movements. You’ll experience a physical challenge as you rotate through set sequences, but this class is suitable for anyone of all levels. If you’re looking to build strength and encourage flexibility, a podFLOW 1 class will help you with just that.
podFLOW 2
Piggybacking from podFLOW 1 classes, podFLOW 2 is the next class in the Yoga Pod profession. Dynamic and accessible for anyone of all levels, this class offers more of a physical challenge with postures and variations that were initially learned in podFLOW 1. While not full hot yoga, these classes are taught in rooms with a temperature of 95 degrees and 40 percent humidity. You will sweat and detoxify as you make your way through set sequences.
podFIT
Building strength is an essential aspect of the yoga practice. While not incorporating many traditional yoga exercises, podFIT classes play an integral role in the Yoga Pod experience. As a fitness-based course taught to the beat of high energy music, you’ll have fun, you’ll sweat, and you’ll work major muscle groups with cardio and light weight training. The class finishes up with a cool down and light stretching.
podHOT
In a room set to 105 degrees with 60 percent humidity, podHOT classes embody the essence of hot yoga. You will sweat and detoxify as you make your way through set sequences. Hot yoga classes offer a unique opportunity to build strength, increase flexibility, engage your core, and create balance throughout your body. Class sessions include deep breathing exercises and a standing and floor series. While there are many amazing benefits of hot yoga, it’s essential that you come to class prepared. Since the temperature is so high and you’ll be sweating, be sure to be well hydrated before entering the class session. Bring a large bottle of water to access during class when needed, and don’t forget to drink lots and lots afterward, too.
