LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR HVAC SYSTEMS
Did you know that we invest in brand new, state of the art HVAC systems, even pre-COVID? The purity of the air inside our studios and your experience are of the utmost importance to us.
The CDC recommends that all indoor spaces upgrade their HVAC systems to include MERV-13 air filters. Our systems not only have multiple MERV-13 filters, we also have a dedicated outdoor air damper that pumps fresh outdoor air into the space while drawing indoor air out.
Our unique and medical grade Rupp air equipment is the newest, most effective HVAC equipment an indoor yoga studio can use. The World Health Organization has updated their literature to reflect that “Heat at 132.5℉ degrees kills the SARS coronavirus at around 10000 units per 15 minutes”. Our system discharges heat at 140℉ through the ducts and at the discharge vents in the room in all of our heated classes.
We are not claiming that our system kills COVID, but the comprehensive nature of our filters, heat discharge temperature, outdoor air flow, consistent circulation, and space between student mats all lend us to feel confident our space is safe for indoor activity.
